Here are some questions that are frequently asked:
+ How and when do i have to pay?
If the equipment is being delivered via beavis, payment is required a day prior to delivery. If you are picking up the equipment, payment can be made on pickup of items. Payment can be done through cash, credit card, bank cheque or direct deposit.
+ How do you handle breakages?
Once the equipment has been returned, it is counted and examined. All breakages must be paid for by the hirer and will be taken out of your security deposit.
+ How clean must the equipment be returned?
The equipment must be returned as clean as possible. For glassware and crockery, this will mean just a rinse out. Any item returned extremely dirty will be charged a cleaning fee. Linen can be sent back dirty, as this is laundered but if red wine stains are present cleaning charges will be applied.
+ Can I pickup my equipment?
Sure! Customers and pick up and drop back the equipment if they wish. However, this does exlude items that are required to be delivered by our highly trained staff, such as glass fridges, free-standing marquee structures. However, all delivery and pickup will be charged an additional costs.
+ What is the security deposit?
On top of all hires we do require a security deposit on top of the hire amount. The security deposit protects against any damage to the equipment whilst on hire. Upon returning the equipment, they will be thoroughly checked over to make sure there is no damage or missing items. If the equipment is returned to us non damaged your deposit will be rfunded back the way it was paid.
+ I would like some equipment, how do i book in?
You are more than welcome to call, email or come and see us at our showroom at beresfeild to make a booking. Upon booking in, we do require the security deposit to be paid. This confirms the hire and your more than welcome or add or change your equipment required up till the week prior to your event.
+ Do you set up the equipment?
No, equipment supplied is for the customer to set up, unless it is equipment that is required to be set up by our highly trained staff such as Marquees, outside flooring etc.
+ Can Beavis pick up on a Sunday?
Yes, but labour charges are in place as this is outside our business hours.
